Saint Habib Girgis the Archdeacon

Today is the commemoration of the great saint, recently canonised in the Coptic Orthodox Church, Archdeacon Habib Girgis. For this occasion last night a celebration was held at St. Mary’s Church in Kensington where HG Bishop Suriel gave an insight into the life of this great saint. The attribute and virtues of this great saint and the enthusiasm by which HG Bishop Suriel delivered his speech really inspired me. HG demonstrated how St. Habib Girgis was very meticulous in his service, visionary and a great leader. I am really inspired to learn more about this great saint.

Also what a great start to putting my blog to use.
